Calvados - 2016 White Port Cask - Little Brown Dog

This single cask Calvados was distilled in 2016 by the renowned producer Christian Drouin and bottled in 2023 by the independent Aberdeen-based bottlers Little Brown Dog Spirits, who release their Calvados under the name Petit Chien Brun. It is presented in its natural form, with no added colouring and no chill filtration.

Produced in the Pays d’Auge, Drouin’s Calvados is traditionally double distilled using pot stills rather than column stills. This particular 2016 vintage spent its entire six-plus years of maturation in a white port cask before being bottled at a natural cask strength of 47.8%. A standout release that will strongly appeal to dedicated Calvados enthusiasts.
