GlenAllachie 10 Year Old PX Cask 9218 (2015–2026) is a special single cask release from GlenAllachie Distillery, distilled in 2015 and matured for 10 years before being bottled in 2026 from a single Pedro Ximénez sherry cask (cask #9218) selected to showcase the rich influence of Spanish oak on this modern‐classic Speyside spirit. This bottling highlights masterful cask selection and patient maturation, with the PX influence imparting deep, lusciously sweet fruit and dessert-like character while preserving the distillery’s signature layers of oak spice and malt complexity. On the nose it greets with inviting waves of raisin, toffee and soft dark chocolate, and the palate follows with concentrated flavours of sticky fig, blackcurrant and burnt sugar wrapped in gentle oak warmth.
