The Marguerite is named for the mother of brothers Florence and Christophe, proprietors of G. Richomme.  The Richommes practice a unique style of small-scale growing not seen in the bigger vineyards of Champagne, 80% of the grapes used in this champagne were harvested in 2019 with remaining 20% being mixed in from reserves held from previous years.  Their attention to detail enabled them to create a gingerbread-like champagne that can accompany any meal.
