Distilled on the 23rd of November 2006 and matured for 16 years in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt (Cask #2182) before being bottled as part of the Distillery Reserve Collection, this Orkney single malt (57.4% ABV) expresses rich, bold sherry influence with prune-paste and jammy dark-fruit notes on the nose, moving into assertive wood spice, espresso, walnut oil and miso on the palate, finishing powerful and complex.
