Tamdhu 10 Year Old (1990s) is a classic vintage Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from the historic Tamdhu Distillery, distilled and aged for 10 years before being bottled in the 1990s during a period when the distillery’s spirit was still primarily used in blends but also released as an official single malt under the distillery’s own name. Bottled at 40% ABV, this older 10-year-old is now discontinued and collectible, offering a snapshot of Tamdhu’s traditional sherry-influenced style from that era.tTe spirit was matured in oak casks (predominantly sherry casks, as was the house practice), giving a flavour profile characterised by mature dried fruit, gentle oak spice and soft malty sweetness that reflects the distillery’s Speyside heritage long before the modern expansion of its single malt range.
