Tamdhu - Dalbeallie - Dram No.2

Tamdhu Dalbeallie Dram 2 is a limited-edition Speyside single malt released in 2019 as the second chapter in Tamdhu’s Collector’s Journey series, created to celebrate key moments and locations from the distillery’s history. Named after the now-lost Dalbeallie railway station that once served the distillery and played a vital role in transporting sherry casks from Spain, this bottling pays tribute to Tamdhu’s long-standing commitment to full sherry cask maturation. Bottled at natural cask strength of 61.1% ABV and limited to just 1,000 individually numbered bottles, it was matured exclusively in a combination of European and American oak Oloroso sherry-seasoned casks, showcasing the distillery’s signature rich and robust style. The flavour profile is firmly sherry-led, with deep notes of dried fruits, dark chocolate and spiced oak, balanced by toffee sweetness and a long, warming finish that reflects both its strength and its heritage-driven character.
