The Tamdhu Distinction is true example of whisky's global influence.  The casks are made from wood sourced from North American forest, the casks are assembled in the Spanish sherry triangle, and the staves are then left to air dry in the Mediterranean sun.  This American sherry oak provides an excellent seasoning to Tamdhu's new make spirit.
