Tobermory's popular 15 year old series was discontinued in 2017, and a portion of the casks that remained have been stored for an additional 8 years to be released as the new Tobermory 23.  The 23 is the first of five planned releases based on the remaining reserves of Tobermory's 15.  The extra time in the cask has turned this whisky into a salty seaside toffee whisky.
